Sunday Trips Schedule

The destination for the upcoming Sunday trip is announced on the website on the Sunday prior to the trip. Due to changing weather patterns such as warm thaws, we monitor the weather predictions closely and select locations that have the best prospects for good skiing conditions for our members.

While we make every effort not to change the destination, it may be changed during the week prior to Sunday in order to bring members to locations with snow that is good for skiing. Please check this website regularly or follow us on Facebook or X for updates.

Departure time is 9 a.m. sharp, unless noted as an early 8 a.m. departure.

Sunday Trips Information

How to Register

Download this document for a detailed explanation of how to register for Sunday Trips: Detailed Trip Registration Steps (opens in new window).

You can register for the next Sunday Trip on the Home page under “Next Sunday Ski Trip".

To reserve a seat, log in to your account. Registration opens at 12:01 a.m. the Monday before the Sunday Trip, and closes on Friday at 11:59 p.m. We strongly recommend registering early to avoid disappointment.  The decision on how many buses to run is made based on Waitlist numbers by Wednesday at 9:00 p.m.

Adult Guests

Adult Guests (18 and over) are limited to two reservations per season, after which they are welcome to become members.

To speed up bus boarding, please have your Guest sign their Informed Consent ahead of time on WaiverFile at this link (opens in new window):

Informed Consent - 18 and over

Or you can download a PDF here: Informed Consent and Assumption of Risk Agreement for printing ready to hand to the Bus Captain.  Printed copies are also available on the bus from the Bus Captain.

Child Guests

Children (17 and under) are not eligible to become members but can come as a guest of a member as many times as they like. The member is responsible for their child at all times. The child's parent or guardian should sign an Informed Consent for them on WaiverFile at this link (opens in new window):

Informed Consent - 17 and under

Standby

Standby members or non-members are welcome if seats are available.

Trail Fees

Trail fees vary by resort. They are posted each week on the Home page for the upcoming Sunday trip.  You can also find them here: Ski Resorts. Trail fees are collected on the bus only in cash (no debit or credit cards).

Ski rentals

Classic ski rentals are available at most resorts at a cost of approximately $30-$45 for a full day plus the cost of a trail pass. (Rental costs are more for skate skis, less for snowshoes.)

Rental costs are paid directly to the ski resort.  Due to high demand most resorts now require members to book equipment directly in advance.  Policies vary by resort so please check the Home page for information about the upcoming Sunday trip.

Bus Fares

The fares are:

 Advance registration for member $35
 Advance registration for guest $40
 Standby passenger (member/guest): $45
Child (17 years and under) $15

There are three ways to pay for your bus fare:

  1. Online payment.  Trakkers Ski Club prefers and strongly encourages advance registration and online payment. Bus fare can be paid online by credit or debit card when you sign up for your trip. Your payment will appear on the passenger list which is provided to the bus captains each week. Credit/debit cards must be Visa or Mastercard branded.
  2. Cash.  If you prefer not to pay the bus fare online when you register for the trip, you will be required to pay it in cash to the bus captain when boarding the bus. We are not able to process debit or credit cards on the bus.
  3. Outstanding balance. If you have an outstanding balance showing on the bottom right corner of the page (i.e. a negative amount owed) you can apply this to your payment.

If you register for a trip and do not show up for the trip you will be required to pay any outstanding amounts on your account.

Pick Up Location

The pick up location is on Indian Road, just north of Bloor Street West, underneath the subway overpass, by the entrance of the Keele subway station parking lot.  There is plenty of free parking on Sundays. Departure time is 8 a.m. or 9 a.m., depending on the destination.

Departure from Resorts

Buses leave the ski resort at 4:00 p.m. in January, and at 4:30 p.m. in February and March. Please be in your seat - the same seat on the same bus that you arrived in - before departure time.
